Growing up Tony’s creativity was strong in the world of music and art, but it wasn’t until he enrolled in cosmetology school at 19 that his true art form was realized. It is safe to say that entering the world of hairdressing was just taking a chance for Tony, but once the hair was in his hands there was no looking back.

For 12+ years Tony has been a hairstylist behind the chair. He also has taken part in session styling for modeling portfolio’s, did hair at Mercedez Benz Fashion Week in NYC, has worked with the UW Madison Opera with hair design, and was involved in a creating a hair design for Hair Affair, The Art of Hair held at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. Tony has created an education based salon not only for the staff but for each guest as well. He has played a major role in considerably increasing the skill level, creativity, sales of services/retail, and the knowledge of professional business within his staff members.

Rapport building through education is helping Hybrid Salon successfully grow. This success and growth was noted when Tony became a nominated member of Who’s Who in Madison, WI (a group of professionals who are recognized as leaders in their area of business).

Tony believes that there is always something new to learn. It is hugely important to him to be open to new ideas and share skills that will help salon professionals grow creatively. Every day drawing inspiration from light reflections, shapes, people, and music, hairdressing has become not only a profession, but also a way of life for Tony.
