Colie is in the industry because it is intrinsically rewarding. She gets to impact the lives of her guests’ every day. With the higher education she has sought out in New York, Las Vegas, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin she is able to offer her guests an exceptional service experience as well as the knowledge of the latest trends in the industry.

Colie enjoys styling, waxing, cutting and coloring hair. Each aspect, individually or as a completed look, will compliment her guest’s personality. Colie enjoys the opportunity to use each of these aspects to find a wearable look that best suits each individual needs. She has been trained to understand and cut curly hair and also has experience in color correction. In October Colie traveled to New York, where she took a test and presented her skill and knowledge in haircolor to a panel of Redken Artists. In December she became a Redken Certified Haircolorist. This will allow her to use her knowledge to understand each guest’s hair, and how to produce the best results.

Colie wants to get into educating other stylists, to give them the opportunities that she has been offered. She also has a desire to produce looks for designers at Fashion Week.
